Over 400 applications were secured/submitted and 200 students will be given the opportunity to take the training. The team created a new brand message -Be in Demand Upgrade Your Career. Media secured: WCCO TV lead story at 5pm news on August 18, 2011 and Fox 9 News at 10 featured the program on August 19, 2011. Ads were placed in the Star Tribune, Pioneer Press and Outstate MN, we also secured support from many other partners by including our message in their newsletters, posting online and other outreach efforts. This was an amazing team and I welcome the opportunity to join forces again. Year 2 training begins on October 10, 2011.
